Tulsa to Settle Lawsuit Against 3 Police Officers

A $150,000 settlement has been reached between the city of Tulsa and a local family who had accused three officers of severely beating their 16-year-old African-American son. The lawsuit accuses the officers of “racial discrimination and using excessive force” against the boy for no reason. The lawsuit states that the boy suffered damaged vision on hearing loss as a result of the attack.
