St. Cloud Police Officer’s Lawsuit to Proceed
A district judge in Minnesota has approved a lawsuit by a former police officer who claims he was discriminated against by members of the department because he is gay. According to the lawsuit, the plaintiff was subjected to “discrimination and retaliation by the department” and denied equal protection during his four-year employment. The suit is seeking unspecified damages.
